A logo for a non-profit organization that is being started by a few of my friends. At first they wanted a more literal illustration of a bridge. I went a little more abstract, but for good reason. The thin slanted arc symbolizes a lot in logo design. It can symbolize a bridge, but also the curving light on the edge of the earth, or a line between far away places. So it has more ties to the connection between the organization and Myanmar. It’s also simple enough to use across all platforms (web, print, shirts, signs, badges, etc).
This is a CD packaging re-design concept I did for a college project during my last year. I found a CD that I thought was poorly designed (the black and white one in the pictures) and gave it a makeover. I tried to take inspiration from the feel of the music, as well as the lyrics, and incorporate that into the design. I also created a fake poster to further bring the concept into reality. Creative direction, design, photography, typography, and concept by me.
A complete conceptual set of coffee packaging for Zion Coffee Roasters, featuring bags for two different types of coffee, as well as a custom cardboard drink sleeve. The brown paper bag is actually just a custom texture I printed onto white paper. All creative direction, copy writing, designing, paper sourcing, assembly, and photography done by me.
